Committees
LCAA carries out much of its work through committees. Current committees are:
- Communications Committee: Supports LCAA through various mechanisms, including the web page, quarterly newsletters, brochures, Facebook group, Constant Contact, alumni directory, and promotion of events. Chair: Maggie Pearson, mpearson222@comcast.net or 434-327-6208.
- Social and Community Involvement Committee : Provides networking opportunities for LC alumni by organizing all social events, including the Annual Luncheon, Winter Social at Michie Tavern, and community service events. Chair: Linda Scott, tandlscott@embarqmail.com or 434-977-7972 (Home) or 434-962-4648 (Cell).
- Membership Committee : Attracts candidates for the LC program, introduces the LC Alumni Association to current LC class and promotes LCAA membership. Chair: Beth Vanda, bethvanda@comcast.net or 434-981-9190.
